Meeting on the last Saturday of each month to meet with individuals living under similar circumstances with the aim of supporting one another and sharing experiences.
We are a group of Christians engaged in pastoral care. As we came alongside people who were struggling with anxiety, we realised that late-diagnosis autism was growing and that whilst there was support for those on the spectrum, there was nothing for the partners of autistic or ADHD people.
Our founding group was just three people, but since then we have grown as new volunteers have joined us. We aim to provide support at no cost within our local community (Banbury, Oxfordshire).
Support for Neurotypical Individuals
Providing a safe space where you can explore the things that your neurodiverse relationships throw up without fear of judgement.
All volunteers and participants sign a confidentiality contract so that we can assure you that your privacy is one of our greatest priorities.
The group is very informal, with lots of time to chat, drink tea or coffee and share biscuits. The aim is for the group to be self directed.
We meet at 10 am, where we have introductions and tea or coffee will be offered. The first hour is an opportunity to share our experience together or to listen to experts in the field followed by group discussion
At 11 am we close the formal part of the session for tea or coffee and biscuits. This gives you time for informal chats and to get to know one another better
From 11.30 till 12.00 we have an optional extra for those that wish to remain. This includes a Bible reading and prayer.
