Where it all began…
My journey began as a volunteer with a homeless charity, where I met with domestic violence, alcoholism, addiction, broken relationships and homelessness.
With little training, I learned as I went along, building relationships, networking & reading books. It was a roller-coaster ride of triumphs and failure, and I knew I could do more!
That’s when I signed up for a Level 3 in Therapeutic Counselling and a new world opened up before me. Over time, I went from being a problem-solver to an active and reflective practitioner.
Four years and 100 supervised hours later I set up in private practice continuing my journey of walking alongside those who are hurting.

Specialisms

I am a Christian Counsellor who works with all faiths and none. When we meet, the aim of our sessions is to equip and empower you towards long-term change and to reach the goals you have defined for yourself.
I work with all kinds of mental health issues, but specialise in neurodiversity. My particular speciality is working with the partners of neurodiverse individuals but I also work with individuals struggling with their ADHD or Autism whether it is self-diagnosed, pending diagnosis or late-diagnosis.
My approach is neurodiversity affirming with an aim to understand the impacts of the way your brain (or your partner’s brain) works in everyday life.
In-Person / Online
Whilst we prefer in-person therapy, we realise that sometimes it is just too difficult to manage. For this reason, we offer in-person and on-line appointments.
Contracting
We will ask you to sign a contract prior to embarking on your counselling. This lays out the expectations for both parties as we journey together through our sessions.
Distinctly Christian
We believe that a person is made up of body, soul and spirit. Our counselling reflects this. We will only bring prayer or the Bible into the sessions if requested to do so by you.
